During the daylight hours, the sun and clouds act like a veil. They obscure what lies above and beyond the sky we see. At night, the veil is often lifted. Suddenly, we are privileged to gaze into eternity. The night sky bears witness to unimaginable scales of time and distance. At night, encouraged by the heavenly lights we see, we are tempted to imagine the beginning of everything and wonder: I am here. Now. Enjoying this spectacle and I find peace.
